Project with IMEG structural design wins AIA/AAH award

The AIA Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) has selected the Story County (Iowa) Medical Center Outpatient Unit Expansion as one of seven recipients of the national 2018 AIA/AAH Healthcare Design Awards.

The expansion project, led by architectural firm INVISION with structural design by IMEG, won the category for projects with a construction cost of less than $25 million. The one-story addition and renovation to the existing hospital promotes a zoned healthcare campus. All outpatient services including primary care, therapy, rehabilitation and wellness, are consolidated in a state-of-the-art facility focused on quality of care.

The AIA/AAH Healthcare Design Awards showcase the best of healthcare building design, healthcare planning and healthcare design-oriented research.
