IMEG Engineering Consultants and Mackey Mitchell & Associates worked together for construction of the Holy Angels Apartments I and II, two independent living centers for the Cardinal Ritter Institute located in Bridgeton, Missouri.
The three story building contains 63 apartments and shares common areas such as community rooms, computer centers, lounges, activity rooms and a laundry area, with an adjacent three story building. The project was also designed to meet the strict requirements and minimum standards of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design and construction services. Designs included independent tenant temperature control systems, independent tenant hot water systems, site irrigation provisions, site lighting, sprinkler systems, fire alarms systems and emergency assistance call systems connected to each apartment.
