The New City is a mixed-use development project that anchors the south end of Chicago’s Clybourn corridor. Plans for the development include retail, residential, hotel, theater, fitness center, above and underground parking and outside green space.
As one of the largest shell and core mixed use projects being designed to achieve LEED Certification in the Chicago area, designs will include a variety of water and energy conserving measures such as:
•Rainwater collection and reuse for irrigation
•High efficiency boilers and chillers
•Heat recovery from exhaust airstreams
•Variable speed dryer exhaust and make-up air
•Reduced lighting wattages in parking garage
