IMEG receives Transformation Award from USGBC Wisconsin

USGBC Wisconsin recently honored IMEG Corp. for its work on the Menasha Corporation corporate headquarters in Neenah, Wis., which was selected as an Award of Merit winner for the 2017 USGBC Wisconsin Leader Awards in the Innovative Design, New Construction category.

The Leader Awards recognize innovative, high-performance green buildings that engage the regional community. The Innovative Design, New Construction category highlights LEED Building Design and Construction projects that demonstrate the use of new technologies and strategies to push the envelope of green design, while meeting challenges in an innovative way.

IMEG provided engineering design services for the two-story, LEED Gold headquarters that replaced the existing 50-year-old building. The 100,000-square-foot facility includes space for a flexible, open, and collaborative work environment that meets the needs of the growing company.

In addition to IMEG, project team members from Menasha Corporation, Menasha Packaging, Miron Construction, Eppstein Uhen Architects, Kapur & Associates, and Pierce Engineers were recognized at the Transformation Awards Reception held June 8 at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center.
