IMEG Senior Structural Engineer Mohammad Aliaari, S.E., P.E., Ph.D., has co-authored a chapter in the newly released book, “New Trends in Structural Engineering.”
The book presents a collection of articles on novel approaches to problems of current interest in structural engineering by academicians, researchers, and practicing structural engineers from all over the world. It is divided into five chapters and encompasses multidisciplinary areas within structural engineering, such as structural dynamics and impact loading, structural mechanics, finite element modeling, structural vibration control, and the application of advanced composite materials.
Dr. Aliaari co-authored Chapter 2 – “Finite Element Modeling of Masonry Infill Walls Equipped with Structural Fuse” – with Dr. Ali M. Memari, Associate Professor in the Architectural Engineering Department at Penn State University. Read Chapter 2 and learn more about the book.
